Hi there! My name is Natalie Workman and I’m the creator of He’s 25 Years Older. I was in my early 20’s when I fell in love with Brandon – you’ll meet him and fully understand why. Brandon is the love of my life and our love has deepened over time, as every great love does. We’ve truly built amazing lives together. We’ve traveled the world, made lifelong friendships, spent quality time with our families, and created incredible success in business. The best part? He is my best friend – corny, I know, but it’s true. We love every minute together.

Brandon is 25 years older than me and the realities of this age difference reveal themselves in both obvious and completely unexpected ways: he has kids, a couple exes, and a full life that he had built before me. I, on the other hand, am just starting mine. When we fell in love, we had no idea how challenging it was going to be to make everyone around us fall in love with us, too. In many ways, the hardest part of our relationship has been what other people think. We’ve had no shortage of stares from strangers and incredibly tough conversations with family and friends. 15 Million women date older men so these challenges aren’t unique to us. However, throughout this process, there have been countless, tear-filled nights where I felt alone. Where are these other women? How have they handled this situation? What did they do to create successful relationships? Throughout my journey launching this blog, I’ve met dozens of women in my exact same situation – with stories to share, in search of a place to share them, with people who can relate, give guidance, and provide support.

But neither is amazing love. And that’s what we’re all after, isn’t it? I’m not an expert at marriage, at prenups, at raising step kids, at overcoming other’s opinions, at creating financial independence, at preparing to lose a spouse. But I plan to become one – because I’m not in the habit of settling for mediocre results or an easy ride. And my gut tells me, you aren’t either. My dad always told me, “whatever you are, be the best.” I’m pretty sure he was quoting Abraham Lincoln but that’s beside the point – I want to be the best: The best fiancé. The best business partner. The best stepmom. The best wife. I’m certain I will make mistakes – and you better believe I already have. However, I’ve realized this isn’t an event, it’s a process that I’m committing my life to. So why not take you along for the ride?

Read every book, watch every video, interview every person who’s done this successfully, try it myself, share my results. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. My dream is to create a place where love like ours can be celebrated and supported, where people in age gap relationships can find examples of success, and where we create a new normal. This blog is the first step to make this dream a reality. When Brandon and I started dating, a resource like this didn’t exist and boy – do I wish it did. It would have saved me from quite a bit of pain. So let’s create one. This is a place to talk about love: The highs. The lows. The self-development journey. You name it – we’ll talk about it. Follow along on our journey to create an amazing love and redefine age gap relationships.
